How do I view my current subscription?

To view your current subscriptions, you must first be logged in.

If you ARE logged in you will always see a welcome message at the top right hand corner of our website that reads "Welcome [Your First Name]".

If you are NOT logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/member-login/ and then follow the instructions below.

When logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/account-login/. Your Username (Email) and your password will be automatically entered for you. Click the Log In button again.

In the navigation will be a link "View my subscriptions".

Click it, and there you can update your credit card info, or add a new one.

That's it!


How do I register for a course or event for free?

If you want to register for an upcoming or ongoing course or event,you must have an active membership and be logged in! To log in, go to theoptimist.com, and enter in your registered email address and password. Once you are logged in, go to the "Events and Courses" section of the website and hit "Register Now". If you are logged in, the system will not attempt to charge you. If you are not logged in, it will. Please make sure you are logged in. If you continue to have trouble, you can always email us at info@theoptimist.com.

If you want to register for a past course or event, your membership must be active. When you log in to our website, theoptimist.com, you will have access to your account and a long list of past courses and events. When you click on a particular course/event, you will be prompted to enter in the password given to you. Then, just enjoy!

Our full interactive membership option grants you one free course and free access to all online events. Our Circle of Friends/Super membership grants you free access to ALL courses and events. For more information on how to become a full or super membership, please click here.

 

How do I reset my password?

To cancel your membership, you must first be logged in.

If you ARE logged in you will always see a welcome message at the top right hand corner of our website that reads "Welcome [Your First Name]".

If you are NOT logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/member-login/ and then follow the instructions below.

To reset your password, navigation to the bottom of the site to the footer area.

Find the "Reset Password" link. Click it. Enter your new password twice and save the new password.

How do I change my address?

To change your address, you must first be logged in.

If you ARE logged in you will always see a welcome message at the top right hand corner of our website that reads "Welcome [Your First Name]".

If you are NOT logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/member-login/ and then follow the instructions below.

When logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/account-login/. Your Username (Email) and your password will be automatically entered for you. Click the Log In button again.

In the navigation will be a link "Edit my profile".

Click it, enter your new address information and save the record.

How do I update my credit card?

To update your credit card, you must first be logged in.

If you are NOT logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/member-login/ and then follow the instructions below.

When logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/account-login/. Your Username (Email) and your password will be automatically entered for you. Click the Log In button again.

In the navigation will be a link "Update my billing information".

Click it, and there you can update your credit card info, or add a new one.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, you must first be logged in.

If you are NOT logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/member-login/ and then follow the instructions below.

When logged in, go to http://theoptimist.com/members/account-login/. Your Username (Email) and your password will be automatically entered for you. Click the Log In button again.

At the bottom of the navigation will be a link "Cancel my membership".

This will cancel your membership on the renewal date.
